First, the White House announced yesterday that it will veto some bipartisan legislation

that's focused on solar panels.

I'm going to explain what's going on, why it is such a big deal,

and how it could lead to blackouts all across America.

Second, we've got two updates in the battle for the Pacific.

That, of course, is the fight between China and America

for influence amongst those island nations and the Pacific Ocean.

I'll give you the latest on who's winning that fight

in the countries of Kiribati and the Solomon's.

Third, Chinese military scientists are working on creating a human being

that isn't harmed by radiation poisoning.

It involves tinkering with DNA.

I've got those creepy details.
