Kid News. I'm Tori. Today is Tuesday, April 21st, 2026. And we begin with back-to-back wins in the Boston Marathon.

Kenya's John Career followed up last year's victory with another yesterday,

shattering the Patriots Day course record with a time of two hours, one minute, and 52 seconds.

That's the fifth fastest marathon ever run. Career broke away from the pack

near the end of the race, finishing more than a minute faster than the previous record set in

2011. It was year 130 for the Boston race, which is the oldest continuously run marathon in the

world.

A big oops for Blue Origin after the company's New Glenn rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Sunday and placed a satellite into orbit. But it was the wrong orbit. The satellite in

question, a next generation cell phone communications relay station,

was deployed too low for its thrusters to move it where it needed to be, so it will ultimately

fall back into the atmosphere and burn up. Blue Origin says an investigation is underway.

The war with Iran is affecting more than prices at the pump.
