It's Monday, April 17, 2023, and we begin with a possible test flight of the world's

biggest rocket and a promise from Elon Musk that no matter what happens, it won't be boring.

A two and a half hour launch window opens at 7 a.m. this morning's central time, and

if all goes right, the 394-foot stainless steel super heavy starship will thunder skyward

from the southern tip of Texas.

While Mr. Musk won't guarantee that it'll even reach orbit, he guarantees excitement.

The starship needs to stay airborne for just three minutes, after which the super heavy

booster would separate and fall into the Gulf of Mexico.

The spacecraft will continue east, passing over the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans,

before ditching an hour and a half later near Hawaii.

Even though the starship is designed to be fully reusable, nothing will be saved from

this particular test.

Stars from now, Mr. Musk hopes his muscle rocket will ferry a hundred people at a time, all

the way to Mars.

The longest running show on Broadway has taken its final bow and dropped its last chandelier.

Last night, after 35 years and 13,981 performances, Phantom of the Opera closed its doors for good.

According to CNN, in recent years, production costs were running upwards of a million dollars

a week, and ticket sales couldn't keep up.

But the Phantom certainly knows how to make a dramatic exit.

Ever since the end of its record-making run was announced, shows sold out.
