Today, first, I want to focus on the question of what the book of Job teaches us about the God of the Old Testament.

We've talked about Job many times over the years.

I had the privilege of writing a commentary on Job that came out in 2019.

In fact, I just learned, I guess it takes like a year or so for these things to process,

but evangelical council of publishers, evangelical Christian, publishers associates, and that's it.

ECPA does annual rewards for top books in different categories, and I was blessed to see that

mine was among the five or six

nominated for Best Bible Reference Books of the Year. So really blessed to see that. And, of course,

worked harder and really sought to honor the Lord and serve all of you with it. But as my newest book,

Has God Failed You is about to be released May 11th, I thought it would

be good to talk about Job and the God of the Old Testament because a lot of people struggle

with the God of the Old Testament.
