On the cross, Jesus’ life ends with the same perspective He has had from the beginning: He trusts His Father.

0:00.0	So for the last number of weeks this whole length we've been talking about the power of
0:06.0	words and how it words have the ability, the ability to disclose, the ability to define
0:11.4	a person's life, the ability to reveal what's in our person's heart, what they really

0:16.4	In fact, one of the things that words have the ability to disclose or reveal is the state
0:22.3	of one's mind, especially at the end of one's life.
0:26.5	Those last words that person has had the ability to reveal the state of a person's soul.
0:33.0	Are they at peace?
0:34.7	Are they in distress?
0:35.7	Are they in a place of torment?
0:37.4	Are they in a place of rest?
0:42.8	It kind of those words, they give us insight into the perspective of a person.
0:47.2	Here's what I mean.
0:49.7	We've gone through a bunch of last words in the last number of weeks.
0:54.5	One of my favorites was from Charlie Chaplin at one point, as Charlie Chaplin is dying,
0:58.8	his last words.
0:59.8	He had a priest came to visit him and as he was received at Holy Communion and received
1:04.2	on the sick Charlie Chaplin's Catholic, as far as I understand it, at least.
1:08.8	The priest said to Charlie Chaplin in these words of peace, he said, may God have mercy
1:12.8	on your soul, which is just a great word.
1:16.0	We got a mercy on your soul.
1:18.6	Charlie Chaplin's response was his last words were, why wouldn't he?
