And we begin with the car industry gearing up for a monumental shift that could have major implications for the environment.

The Biden administration released a proposal yesterday that would require two out of every three new cars and light trucks sold in the U.S.

to be all electric by 2032. The New York Times calls the plan the nation's most ambitious climate regulation to date

and would require nothing short of a revolution in the U.S. auto industry.

In response, car makers say they want to make sure there's a market for those vehicles and that they're affordable.

And that's where the rubber might meet the road. A new survey by the Associated Press says only four in 10 Americans are considering an electric vehicle for their next purchase.

The main reasons? Two high prices and two few charging stations.
