Dan and the Danents, Dan Patrick show touched on a variety of things in the first

hour. In case you missed it, Mike Toreco joined us from Augusta.

We talked about the course was the big winner yesterday.

We also talked about what happened in the Metz game, a walkoff hit by pitch.

Michael Conforto leaning into a pitch, but they allowed it to happen and the Metz,

their home opener beat the Marlins.

We'll talk to Keith Hernandez, who's part of the broadcast team for the Metz.

He thought, along with Ron Darling former Major League pitcher, that they made the wrong call.

And it was the Metz winning.

They didn't know what was reviewable.

This is what it sounded like yesterday as Michael Conforto leaned in,

bases loaded and got hit by a pitch and that brought in the game winning run.

Now the one two pitch breaking ball in there strike three call.

And they're saying a victim on the arm.

The game is over.

It was called a strike initially, but then it was ruled that the ball hit Conforto.

Michael gets to first base.

The Metz are pounding on him.

And in a very unusual scene, Don Mattingley is saying, hold the phone.
