But first, a cabinet minister has defended the Deputy prime minister Angela Rainer after she admitted

she hadn't paid enough tax on a seaside flat in East Sussex.

Angela Rainer, who's also the housing secretary, reportedly saved £40,000 in stamp duty on the

property in Hove by not paying the higher rate for second homes.

She's insisted she no longer owns a stake in her family home in Greater Manchester that's held in trust for her disabled son and had sought

legal advice about buying her flat, only later to be told she should have paid more tax. The deputy

prime minister also has the use of a grace and favour home in London.
