Good afternoon fellow investors and welcome to our Thursday April 9th

2020 edition of Invest Talk. I hope you all are out there. Staying well, staying healthy, staying six feet apart for everybody except for your immediate family, and just helping and doing your part flattening the curve. I know myself and Steve I think we go

to the in the office about one day a week now work from home mainly but it's definitely

been an interesting time and it continues to be and there's a lot of moving parts in the market especially in today a lot moving down which would be employment right have over the last three weeks unemployment claims.

I think I added it up, it was about 16.8 million

unemployment claims.

Our working age population is somewhere

a little over 200 million so that right there

is somewhere around 8-ish 9% of our working population and so that's something that will be watched to see how much that continues to grow

throughout the rest of this month right because we're we're probably going to be in the similar situation at least through the balance

of this month, and that means more and more layoffs and unemployment rate probably reaching

20-ish percent is my guess and now the majority of those people are

going to be hired back once we do kind of open up but some of them might not right

you're probably going to have a big swath come initially

and then kind of slowly companies getting back to rehiring some of their workers. I know they there's I forgot who I talked to

was somebody who was talking about certain industry I can't remember what

industry it was but they were saying they laid off all of their workers or

furloughed their workers for three months because unemployment

claims are our employment benefits based on the legislation are going to go out three months.
