A book that has captured the imagination of the United States of America is doing phenomenally

well. Tell me why this book is so successful please. I think because it tells the Russian half

of the story. Basically we have a conspiracy. You can call it an alleged conspiracy involving a

group of Americans, many working for Trump's campaign and indeed allegedly Trump himself

and a group of Russians. Quite a lot is known about the Americans in the story about Donald Trump,

his son Donald Trump Jr. Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law and so on but less is known

about the oligarchs, the intelligence officers. And also the fact that what happened last year

owes a big debt to the Cold War and I would say to the methods of the KGB.

Well, obviously intrigued because while you were explaining that it becomes clear that what we're

talking about is how power operates covertly and the kind of alliances that are formed in order

to achieve power sometimes as in this case unconventional or at least novel relationship.
