I want to play something for you. You're hearing random name generator by Wilco, featuring my guest Glenn Cochie on drums.

Glenn joined Wilco upon the recommendation of influential producer and musician Jim O'Rourke,

and his background not only as a rock drummer, but as a trained classical percussionist

and new music disciple made him the perfect fit for the stylistically malleable band.

His first recording with Wilco was Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, the highly acclaimed 2001 album

that is regarded by many as a masterpiece.

To the stars in the sky,

an intensely creative and dexterous talent,

Glenn has collaborated with a wide array of artists including

Nels Klein, Neil Finn, Stereo Lab, and Edith Frost. He's also active as an experimental composer
