Today's expression is a good one. It is to solidify something.

1:09.6

To solidify something. Oh boy. Sounds difficult. Solidify. It's easy. S-O-L-I-D., like my head. Solid, like a rock. Solidify. S-O-L-L-I-D-I-F-Y means to make something solid.

1:28.4

It's the verb form of solid. So I'll give you the opposite. Do you know liquid? L-I-Q-U-I-D? Liquid, right? That means like water. Well, to make something into a liquid, we can say liquefy. L-I-F-I-F-I-F-I. So solidify to make something into a liquid, we can say liquefy. Liqueify.

1:29.3

So solidify to make something solid.

1:32.2

Liqueify to make something into a liquid.

1:34.7

So, for example, if we have water and we put it in the freezer, it becomes ice.

1:42.3

We have solidified water. And if we have ice and we put it on the stove,

1:48.8

it becomes water. We have liquefied the ice. Does that make sense? Okay. So that's the basic

1:57.1

idea of to solid to make something solid. But the otherify, to make something solid.

2:09.1

2:17.5

to make something very well respected, to make something deep rooted.

2:19.1

Yeah.

2:21.1

So people ask me,

2:22.1

Coach Shane,

2:25.0

why do you make so many videos?

2:29.8
