Yeah, that's a great question.

So his name in Hebrew is Yishah Yah, or also Yishah Yahoo, it's spelled both ways.

You think of Netson Yahoo, that Yahoo on the end

is an abbreviation of Yahweh. then the first part of the word of the name is a verb.

So Neton Yahoo is Yawe has given and Yeshah yah who or yeshah yah is yah way has saved so that's what his name

means in Hebrew all names mean something that's why it's always fun to study, you know, what does the name mean?

And of course the name Jesus is short for Yehoshua and that means Yawe is Salvation that's what his name means and that's

how Matthew won and the angel can say to Joseph you will name him,

Yaway is salvation for he will save his people from their sins.

So in Hebrew, the connection works.
