Summary

Today’s expression and dialog: You reap what you sow. I’m sick. Your stomach? Yeah. I think I ate too much cake. You ate the entire cake! You reap what you sow. When I was a kid, I LOVED to play outside! I was always in the sun--spring, summer, winter and fall! But I was stupid...I rarely used sun block--I didn't use any lotions to protect my skin from the sun. And now...years later...I have problems! As many of you know, I recently had two surgeries for skin cancer! Well, the surgeries were successful, but I'll probably need more in the future~ OH...if ONLY I had been more careful when I was young...it is important to think about what we do. 0:50.6	S-O-W.
1:00.3	Well, this is a farming expression, actually, and it means if you plant something, then you will harvest something. So in this spring, if you plant corn in the field, then in the late summer,
1:09.8	you will get corn and you can eat corn.
1:12.7	If you plant cabbage in the spring, then in the summer you'll get cabbage.
1:18.5	If you plant potatoes, you'll get potatoes.
1:20.7	You reap what you sow.
1:25.3	To sow means to plant.
1:36.3	To reap means to plant. To reap means to harvest. So if you don't sew anything, you get nothing. So right now you are sowing the seeds of English. You're studying English. And if you continue to study English,
