Originally, like I said, we sat down to do an episode about report writing and it kind of really turned into a three part

series just because there's so much good stuff in here you guys and I really didn't want it to all get hidden basically so I

broke it up into three pretty distinct parts. This is part two and in this

episode Matt and I will be talking about the importance of a protocol when completing instrumental assessments.

So both for SLPs that are doing the assessments, but also SLPs that are on the receiving

end of these reports and why it can be so important for

continuity of care. So that's what we talk about in this episode. We also do start to

talk about report writing in this episode and a lot of things that you should

include in your report and then in part three we cover everything about

recommendations because let's face it that's reality that is the meat and potatoes of our report so that's

And whether we want to admit it or not that 99.9% of the time that's where people are going to go read first. So that really

can make or break your patient it can help or harm your patient. So that is
