It is thick-skinned. Th-H-I-C-K-D-S-K-I-N-N-E-D. Thick-S-K-I-N-E-D. Some people also say tough-skinned, T-O-U-G-H. But i think most americans say thick skinned and this is used as an adjective

What does it mean to have thick skin?

Hmm.

Does it mean you never have wrinkles?

Does it mean you have good quality skin?

No, not at all.

If you are thick-skinned, that means when somebody says something mean to you, it doesn't bother

you.

When somebody says, you're ugly, you don't care.

When somebody says, you don't work hard enough, but actually you do,

you don't care. To be thick-skinned means when other people criticize you or say something

bad about you or insult you or try to humiliate you, it doesn't bother you.

Oh yeah.

That's actually a pretty good quality.

Now, if you're always thick-skinned, then you're not very human.

But in general, it's good to be thick-skinned, then you're not very human.
