According to the Recovery Elevator sobriety Tracker on my phone, I have been sober for one year, one month, one week and five days.

On today's podcast I've got Robert.

He's actually back for his second interview. The first time I interviewed Robert was on

episode 17. At that moment Robert had five days of sobriety. From then till now

Robert has had a string of relapses, shall we say.

And there is nothing wrong with that.

Relaps is common in a lot of people's recovery.

It was a large part of my recovery.

For some people, they quit, and that's it.

They're done.

But for myself and Robert, relapse was a common theme in our recovery.

However, Robert is still in the fight.

He is still struggling.

And in a Facebook message that he sent me he said I'm having

trouble saying goodbye like an old girlfriend at the taxi stand having trouble saying

goodbye to this love and obsession to return to a normal drinker.
