Hey guys, how's it going? It is Scott Devine back here from Scott's Bassessons.com and I'm here with another episode of the SBL podcast.

And this week we've got the awesome Damian Erskine with us. Now Damian, I've been following him for years. He is such a killing bass player. He's right at the top of his game.

You might know him as well because

his uncle is the world famous drummer Peter Erskine, who played drums for Weather Report and

Jacob Astorius, right through to Steely Dan, Diana Crowell. He's played with a host of killing artist,

as has Damien. And he talks about his relationship with his uncle in this interview as well.

I originally thought, I don't know, I just sort of like assumed that, you know,

Uncle Peter would have got Damien playing bass from, you know, year dot.

But it's actually not the case there.

Damien got into bass later on in life. He was actually

originally a drummer and got into bass later on in life, ended up going to Berkeley. And he

talked about all of that and then ended up playing actually in like the Jack Upper story as big

band. And you know, it's really, really really it's an exciting and inspirational story and so

I won't speak too much about it because I want you to check out the interview but if if you are an
