Today's podcast is brought to you by D-D.M. My class. I will tell you about that class at the end of the podcast. Today's expression is to be in its infancy. So something is in its infancy. In its infancy, infancy, I-N-F-A-N-C-Y. Infancy. That means the period of time

when you were a baby. So I was born in Texas in the United States and I lived there for three months

and then I moved, well my mom obviously moved to Wisconsin and I grew up in Wisconsin. So I spent

part of my infancy in Texas and then the rest of my infancy with mom and dad in

Wisconsin.

So did you grow up in the same town, in the same state, in the same country?

Did you spend your infancy in the same place? Where? Think about it. Where did you spend

your infancy? If it's the same town, maybe you can think about the neighborhood or the city.

Yeah. But this expression, we don't usually think about babies. We think about businesses or science projects, something like that.

So I have a plan to be the Internet's most famous English teacher,

but my plan is in its infancy.

It's just a baby plan. It's not really doing anything. It's still growing.
