Ooh, hello and welcome to the 33rd episode of Curiosityness. I am Travis DeRose, the host, and this episode I have on Stephen Newland of Find Your Money Path, and he just helps us find our money path. He's just a fun guy to talk to you, we get into like budgeting and uh getting out of debt

and helping you know just kind of deal with money and talk about it and he's uh he's very helpful

he's a really good uh he has a good take on it and and how to deal with money and and the different

apps and tools to use and all that kind of

It's a good day. Where are you at right now?

I'm in Atlanta, Georgia.

Okay. That's where you're based out of?

Yep, yep. Originally from Ohio, though. I grew up in Cincinnati, so I'm an Ohio transplant.

Oh, I see. Okay. So what brought you to Atlanta?

The main reason was I graduated, I went to a university of Cincinnati.

And when I graduated from there, I graduated back in 2010 and graduated from there. And I moved down here to work for Delta Airlines and finance.

Right. Okay. Yeah, we're going to get into that. I want to hear about that. That's cool. Yeah. So it wasn't the Coca-Cola factory that brought you there, huh? It was not Coca-Cola. And it's funny, if anyone's from Atlanta listening to this, you're probably going to not like me after saying this. But I think when I grew up, I was more of a Pepsi person, more of like a Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, you know. Okay, I see. Sorry, Atlanta. Is there, like, a lot of, like, Coke patriotism in Atlanta? Do you feel that? Oh, gosh. Like, you wouldn't believe. Yeah, if you ask for a Pepsi down here, it's like, no, it's like, yeah, it's like a sin. Like, you can't, you can't do that. You can't ask for Pepsi. Interesting. Yeah. That's cool. I like that. I've been to you when I was younger, my sister started like collecting I Love Lucy stuff. And so I was like,

well, dang, I want to get in on the collecting game too. So I just chose Coke. So started collecting Coca-Cola collectibles and everything and eventually made it to the, to the Atlanta

Coke headquarter factory thing there. So it was pretty cool to check all that stuff out.
