Well, hey there, welcome to another episode of The Maximized Minimalist. My family of four are

back home from our trip abroad through Italy, and I have so much to share with you all.

We made so many incredible memories from getting stuck in the tiniest Italian road.

And hear me out, when I say stuck, the roads in these Italian towns oftentimes have walls right next to them. So we almost

get stuck like our car almost physically didn't get through on multiple occasions, even with our

mirrors pulled in. Our car also broke down on the Italian highway. So when the tow truck came,

literally they put our car with us inside of it on top of the tow truck like it was no big deal and I survived to tell the tale. We experienced

epic toddler tantrums and may have also had a few adult tantrums at Ang self because, oh, we were so busy, we were so

tired, and we just kept moving. And all around, it was just epic on so many levels. I'm so

grateful for this experience. If you're new to my podcast, in October of this year, my husband,

our two sons who are four and now three years old,

traveled through Italy for 33 days, and it was incredible. Exhausting, incredible, and so, so, so,

eye-opening. It's funny because leading up to this trip, I honestly expected and just pictured in my mind that while I was there,

that I'd have this movie like Julia Roberts moment while looking, you know, at a famous painting in a museum or admiring the Florence landscape, I was like, I'm going to have an

eye-opening experience or, you know, get hit with the meaning of life or something awesome like that.

I know it sounds silly, but I honestly thought that would happen. So the trip finishes, and it didn't

happen. And I was like so disappointed.
