1:17.0	Should you be an optimist?
1:21.0	And this might surprise you, because as we said in the opening a lot of people
1:23.9	think you're just born a certain way like you're born right-handed, you're
1:27.8	born left-handed, you're born an optimist, you're born a pessimist. But my claim is that this is a choice. It's a choice
1:36.9	that you have to really make every single morning when your eyelids flip
1:41.2	open. Is this going to be a day of blessing or a day of cursing? Is this
1:47.3	going to be a day in which God's favor comes upon me and enters into my soul? is it going to be a day that has setbacks and trouble
1:58.0	and tribulation and persecution that's going to affect me in a negative way. Well, I think if you're a follower of
2:07.0	Jesus Christ, if you are a Christian, you hope to know God, love God and serve God. The only option is to be a true
2:18.0	optimist because in the end God wins, God is ultimately in charge of everything, not Satan, God is in
2:27.6	charge.
2:28.6	So we're going to look at G.K. Chesterton, we're going to look at some quotes, but we're also
2:31.4	going to look at key Bible verses about having an optimistic outlook.
2:37.0	And this isn't just naive optimism.
