Hey everyone welcome back to the podcast this is a fun episode for Katie and I because well I say fun but really it's kind of almost sentimental

nostalgic maybe because it is most likely the last podcast episode that we're going to be recording in our

little apartment here in Bend Oregon. So yeah we've got mixed feelings about

leaving Bend but overall our emotions are very positive for the next

season of life. But enough of that in this episode we're going to be talking

about how oftentimes me as a husband and a father I feel inadequate to lead my family and to I

guess be the spiritual leader that I believe God has called me to be and the more

I talk to other men I realize that this is a common feeling and

really a common sentiment amongst Christian men. They have this desire to lead

and to be a spiritual head in their family yet they feel inadequate as a person.

And so we're going to be talking about how I've combated that, and despite the feeling of inadequacy,

I've done my best to act in faith and in realizing that me as a person I don't have to

feel adequate in order for God to lead through me because he's given me this position and he can

certainly lead and then Katie's going to talk about different things

she's done to encourage me in that position and in that role as leader in our

family. I hope you guys enjoy this
