This week on Trashy Royals, we hop on our broomsticks and fly back to the heady days when men were men and a mildly inconvenient storm at sea could prompt a monarch to burn a bunch of his subjects at the stake! That's right: It's King James VI (of Scotland) and James I (of England and Ireland) time! This guy was obsessed with witchcraft and witches, sending a sickening number of innocents to be burned at the stake or hanged from the gallows, usually for the simple crime of being a woman.
