a car that doesn't get talked about very much. And well, that could be one of the reasons why,

if you would like to get one, you can get yourself a bit of a bargain at the moment.

The Honda Civic has a strong reputation for being reliable, for being versatile and being

affordable.

But if you want the best of all those worlds, but in an electric car, that's a lot bigger,

what's the best option?

Well, with the new electric prolog, the answer may surprise you. Now, Cars Direct recently had some great lease offers for the current model year,

2024 Prolog EX. That's all-wheel drive. If you're in California or similar states with different

emissions rules, you can lease the vehicle for $269 a month. Now, that is over three years. There's

two grand to put down when you sign. That's not extortionate, but you do have to work that into 36, you know, and that brings the total to $325 in other states. It could be $329 or 385 with certain other fees, but still, if you compare that to something like the Honda Civic, much smaller car, obviously not an EV, obviously.

And that's $239 a month, but with $3.5 grand down, so effectively, again, about $333.

Now, the prolog has an MSRP of $49,000. So the Civic is a 24 grand car, very popular with Honda buyers, very robust, reliable, just one of those reliable ways to get around. But for twice the price,

literally twice the price, is a premium electric prologue, and it's $8 a month cheaper than the
