Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he breaks down today’s biggest stories shaping America and the world in a Special Report on global tariffs and the future of the U.S. economy.

Trump’s Tariffs Reshape the Global Economy – Starting Saturday, a 10% tariff will hit all foreign products entering the U.S. - except for qualifying goods from Canada and Mexico. Steel, aluminum, and autos face a 25% tariff globally.

Winners and Losers Around the World – China faces a crushing 54% tariff; Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe also see steep penalties. Meanwhile, Central and South America emerge as early winners, especially in textiles, coffee, and cocoa.

How It Affects You – From higher grocery prices to new job opportunities in factories and mines, Americans are likely to see both short-term costs and long-term gains. Trump is betting that the nation is ready to rebuild - and willing to sacrifice to do it.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is today's special report. We begin with the biggest

1:12.9

part of the announcement from yesterday. Starting this Saturday, every product from abroad

1:17.7

coming into this country will face a new 10% tariff. That must be paid by the U.S. buyer,

1:23.8

say a U.S. retailer, with a check made out to the U.S. government.

1:34.7

Now, to emphasize that is a 10% tariff on all foreign products except those from Mexico and Canada.

1:42.3

Trump said yesterday that those products will remain tariff-free for now if they qualify under that U.S.MCA trade agreement.

1:45.0

That's going to include things like Mexican fruits and vegetables or Canadian timber and our favorite maple syrup. And that said, the Wall Street

1:50.6

Journal is reporting that everybody is still going to get hit with that 25% tariff on steel,

1:56.2

aluminum, and autos that would include then Canada and Mexico as well.

2:06.3

In other words, the new baseline global economy this morning, driven by the largest economy,

2:12.4

us, America, it is going to kick off on Saturday with a new 10% tariff on everybody except for Canada and Mexico.
