Originally, this was one and the same celebration. Jesus, Yeshua, died for our sins and rose from the dead in the midst of the Passover

celebration and feast of unleavened bread. But over the centuries, this got separated, just as Judaism and Christianity got separated. For me, we go back to the Jewish roots and to the Jewish Messiah to get the full meaning of both.

But my question was regarding John the Baptist, his ministry, and recognizing Jesus.

I mean, we know there were cousins.

But when he's coming to, you know, in Matthew, when he's coming to Jesus, John says,

behold, the lamb of God takes away the sins of the world.
