Today is Tuesday, March 29, 2022, and we begin with Will Smith publicly apologizing to Chris

Rock for slapping him on live television on Hollywood's biggest stage in an Instagram

post-late yesterday.

The actor called his Oscar-night behavior unacceptable and inexcusable and wrote,

"'I was out of line and I was wrong.

There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.'"

Well that'd be good enough for Mr. Rock or for the Academy?

Only time will tell.

According to CNN, high-profile members held a heated and divided meeting yesterday on

how to respond to the star on star drama, and although considered unlikely, the organization

could strip Smith of the best actor on her he won just moments after.
