All right, as we all know, Mother Nature is having fun with everyone, pretty much around the world.

Now, here in the Pacific Northwest, the big nature-related news are the impending thunderstorms headed our way.

Most places, they call that springtime.

But it's just not something that happens here much. But anyway, in addition to thunderstorms, our very, very excited meteorologists,

are also warning of cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, a potential tornado or two, and of course,

hail. And in some areas, they're predicting ping pong ball-sized hail.

Ping pong. And while the local weather folks are genuinely excited about all of this,

just keep in mind that hail could cause damage to vehicles and homes and people and pets and livestock

and crops. Meanwhile, in the Atlanta area, they've been issued a red flag fire warning today,

as fires there have already burned hundreds of acres and dozens of structures,

but that pales in comparison to South Korea, where wildfires have burned thousands of acres

and hundreds of buildings, but sadly, South Korea might also have a sinkhole
