It's Tuesday, March 22, 2022, and we begin with Disney shutting down its park in Shanghai

in response to China's rising number of COVID cases.

This is part of the government's effort to stamp out the quickly spreading Omicron

variant under the country's strict zero COVID policy.

There's no word on when the Shanghai Disney Resort might reopen.

Meanwhile, Moderna is seeking emergency authorization from U.S. regulators for a second COVID booster

shot for all adults, as a surge in cases is being reported in some parts of the world.

And Dr. Fauci, the White House's top advisor on the pandemic, is predicting an uptick in

cases here in the U.S.
