And we begin with President Biden standing by his dog.

In an appearance on Good Morning America yesterday, Major's dad insisted his German shepherd

rescue enjoys an 85% approval rating inside the White House.

The comment was made on the heels of the nipping story from earlier this month.

According to the president, Major turned a quarter inside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was

caught by surprise by two unfamiliar people and reacted protectively.

A secret service agent was on the receiving end of Major's mistake, but Mr. Biden says

the dog's teeth didn't penetrate the skin.
