And we begin with a retired teacher in Canada, keeping busy, tracking down dozens of students

to return their diaries.

In the late 1970s and 80s, Hugh Britain had his sixth grade students in St. John New

Brunswick keep a journal for a week as a creative writing exercise.

Mr. Britain never read them, just sealed them up, and returned them when the students graduated.

But some kids have moved away, so we pack those in a box and is now trying to find the

remaining 26 authors on Facebook with some success.
