Virginia, a pretty conservative state, has become the 20th state in the country to outlaw conversion

therapy for LGBTQ minors.

Governor Ralph Northam signed the bill into law on Monday. And conversion therapy is pretty

sick stuff. What it is is described as the practice that forcibly changes an individual

sexual orientation or gender identity. If you're gay, there is something inherently wrong with you.

Not only is it a moral issue,

there's something just basically medically wrong with you.

So what they're going to do is put you into some really serious therapy to un-gay you.

And to say that it's number one controversial that is insane, that it makes no sense whatsoever,

that it is cruel.

And I mean, it just goes on and on. And there is, and by the way, it is cruel. And, I mean, it just goes on and on.

And there is, and by the way, it's allowed in so many states.

It's allowed in the majority of the states in the United States.

And so Virginia is another one.

And as you would think, the states that have banned this.

You can't do this conversion therapy.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware.

I mean, I'm not going to go through the whole 20 of them.

And I'll tell you something else about conversion therapy.

I mean, can you imagine, as I describe it, you're a gay person, you're a member of the LGBT community, and now you go into, and this is minors, by the way, we're talking about, because adults certainly can do all the conversion therapy they want, because they're adults, they can consent to it all. But I'm talking about minors. So you have an eight-year-old, nine-year-old, 10-year-old child who clearly is gay or questioning being gay and we're going to knock the stuffing of that queerness out of you.
