And the role of a 14-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, Amira Dior, train him artists designed

the sneakers that went into the super-ritsy gift bags handed out to the celebrities.

The teen's only been a fashionista in earnest for two years, ever since her mom surprised

her with graphic design software so she could lean into her creativity.

Amira says that present helped her launch Lane One Kicks, a name influenced by her professional

mission to carve out her own lane of coolness.

It's clearly working.

I want to inspire young people like me, she told the post, no matter where you are, your

age, where you come from, you can do anything, even make it to Hollywood.

There's a new goat in the world of downhill skiing.

Over the weekend, American Michaela Schifrin won her 87th World Cup race to become the most

decorated skier in the history of the sport.

Michaela's gold in the Slalom on Saturday came 12 years to the day she won her very first

World Cup race as a 15-year-old and vaulted her past the record held for decades by legendary

Swedish racer Ingmar Stenmark.

And while Michaela is humbled by her accomplishment, what matters most to her is how hard she trained

to get there.

She told USA Today, the motivation has never been about this, about the record, about these

numbers.
