Today we have a couple updates on Model 3 Vins,

and then I'll share some thoughts on Tesla's stock movement on Monday.

Tesla had a strong day finishing up 5.61% to $345.51, as compared to the NASDAQ down 0.16%.

Two important updates today on model 3 Vins.

We have a new highest of insiting 988.

This was spotted at a service center in Indianapolis by

TMC user Jay Schweffel. He did post photos so that one has been verified and

then I haven't seen any photos but there are also reports of other TMC users that have been assigned Vins and expected delivery over the weekend in that same range kind of 9500 to 9900.

These Vins would all fall within the batch that was registered with NHTSA on January 25th.

That again puts us at about six weeks from registration to delivery, so that's in line with the

math that we've continually been working with.

That means that it's extremely likely that the highest bin that we'll see within Q1 is at most going to be 12,436.

That was the highest bin that was registered on March 2nd.

And more likely the highest bin that we'll see is probably in the range of 11,300 or so which was registered back on February 2nd.

In both of those cases, that would mean fewer than 10,000 model 3s delivered in Q1, so set your expectations accordingly.

I haven't worked through exactly what my estimate is yet.

As we get closer to the end of the quarter, I will give more specific estimates for deliveries and production.
