of the sports day that changed the world March 11th, 2020.

Jazz Center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus for many marking the true

beginning of the pandemic in America.

We don't even think twice now about canceling games, but back then it was nearly unthinkable.

The jazz and thunder were on the court.

They were warming up when the news came down.

And there was an extra layer of controversy because Gobert had made fun of people who

were concerned about the virus in a press conference.

And then his teammate, Donovan Mitchell also tested positive.

Reportedly, there was tension between these two in a locker room.

And no one could have predicted what came next.

And at first, most of us probably thought sports would be delayed a couple of weeks.

If even that.

Starting shutdown for months.

And when everybody came back, everything was different.

So it's been a long year.

Tremendous losses.

But we'll never forget what happened a year ago.
