Basketball Podcast. I got Matt Norland here with me and we got a lot to get to, including

the end of the Johnny Jones era at LSU. We'll touch on the past few nights of championship

week as well, which have just been a blast. Some good stories there, especially the Steve

Forbes story at ETSU and the Mike Dom's story at South Dakota State. But I want to start

with some breaking news from Wednesday morning and that is that Josh Jackson, the Keynes of

Stars, going to be suspended for the J.O. First, a big 12 tournament game because of another

incident involving him in a car. Norlander, you wrote about this. I was on a plane this

morning. What exactly did Josh Jackson do this time?

Well, okay, so this is what this appears to be from outside looking in. Kansas has had

and we've talked about this on the podcast frequently, maybe not even enough. There have been

plenty of reasons to discuss Kansas on and off the floor this year, but its players keep

getting into these random off the court issues involving law enforcement are specifically

receiving traffic citations. So this one seems to be that he simply backed into a car on

campus, didn't leave a note, was cited for it. This happened more than a month ago. He

just told Jackson just told himself about this on Monday and because of the self-assesspended

Jackson for the first game of the big 12 tournament. Now, there was the issue with Jackson

damaging Kansas women's basketball players car back in December after that woman allegedly

threw a drink in Lajaro Vicks' face and that created a whole other issue.

After Lajaro Vick allegedly hit her last December 2015, that should be noted as well.
