The good news, that means it'll stay lighter, later. The not so great news, most of us will lose an hour of sleep. Standard time ends and daylight saving time begins this

Sunday at 2 a.m. While many welcome longer days, the practice of springing ahead and falling

back is not without its critics. Only about 40% of the world's countries practice the twice

yearly time change, and most polls in the U.S.

show people would prefer to stick with one or the other and stop the flip-flopping.

Many doctors agree, saying the back-and-forth can upset our natural sleep cycles,

leaving us stressed out and tired.

Fun fact, Hawaii and Arizona are the only two states in the U.S. that don't observe daylight saving time.
