Summary
For the first time since 2004, Kansas will not finish atop the Big 12 standings. The greatest streak in college hoops history is done. Parrish and Norlander open on that, then get to Texas Tech and Kansas State (11:00) fighting out the top of the league, in addition to a discussion on whether or not Chris Beard is a top-five (or top-10) coach in college hoops. Meantime, Duke (23:45) barely won at home vs. Wake Forest on Tuesday night. What? So with that, and with Zion unlikely to play at UNC on Saturday, Norlander poses the questions: Did Duke handle the initial timeline for Zion correctly and is he vulnerable to losing NPOY to his teammate? The guys close with thoughts on the sentencing that came down Tuesday (37:45) for the three men charged in the college basketball corruption case.

| 0:17.6 | is here with me. And the big news since we last recorded is that Kansas's streak of |
| 0:21.8 | Big 12 regular season titles is over. Oklahoma beat the J-Hawks 81-68 Tuesday night just |
| 0:27.8 | beat their brains in really. So KU now has six league losses. As you probably know, Texas |
| 0:32.9 | Tech and Kansas State can't possibly finish with more than five. So the streak is over, |
| 0:37.2 | the streak is over. Norlander, let's dive right in. Your thoughts on the end of one of |
| 0:42.5 | the more remarkable streaks in college sports history. |
| 0:45.4 | I didn't think it ended like this. Hey, you know what? I'm cool at ending because we're |
| 0:51.0 | not going to see this happen at the major conference level again for the rest of our lifetimes. |
| 0:55.2 | You can make an argument. We won't see it period. A men's division on basketball because |
| 0:58.2 | Gonzaga is the closest thing right now. It's at seven. So it's halfway there, including |
| 1:03.7 | this season. There's no telling of Gonzaga's even in the WCC, seven years from now. So that |
| 1:11.2 | alone in addition to how hard it is to do Kansas, you know, it's set a record in doing this |
| 1:15.2 | period. I don't anticipate that any conference team will do it at all as long as you and I |
| 1:21.6 | are walking the terra firma here. The bulldogs have a shot, but things still have to break |
| 1:26.1 | just the right way for Kansas to lose how it did. I mean, it's been, it's been largely |
| 1:30.1 | abysmal away from its home state this season. Oklahoma locks up a bid in my estimation with |
| 1:36.4 | that win. So good on the sooners for being able to do that. But, but I think this is more, |
| 1:41.7 | you can have the conversation to HGP. You can say how great it was and it was and we |
| 1:48.0 | can highlight how ridiculous it's been over the years. But you can also, and I think this |
