Hello, this is Vicky Young with The Week in Westminster, a week which, of course, has been dominated by those elections in England on Thursday.

We'll be chewing over what the results mean for the parties, and there's no doubt who the big winner is.

Nigel Farage called Reform UK's performance seismic, while the

Conservative leader Kemi Badenock admitted it was a bloodbath for her party. There's a lot to talk

about with my guests, Lucy Fisher, the Whitehall editor of the Financial Times, Alvare, the Associate

Editor of Bloomberg UK, and Henry Hill, who is the Deputy Editor of Conservative Home,

the Conservative News and Analysis website.

First, let's have a reminder of some of the key moments from those elections,

starting with the result of the by-election in Runcorn and Helsby,

which was a safe labour seat.

And I do hereby declare that Sarah Joanne Pochin is duly elected as a member of Parliament

for the Runcorn and Helsby constituency.

The people of Runcorn and Helsby have spoken.

Enough is enough.

I said after I won in Clacton in the last general election,

I said we've dealt with the Tories,

we're now coming for the Labour Party,

and boy, we are.

The message I take out of these elections

is that we need to go further

and we need to go faster
