While that fires continue to rage in the panhandle of Texas this morning,

they are the largest in-state history at this point, around 1.1 million acres.

Conditions are expected to improve today and throughout the week, but state and national firefighters

have their work cut out for them.

The smokehouse fire is only 15% contained as of this morning.
