Hello and welcome to episode 29 of Curiosityness. This is Travis DeRos. I'm the host of the show. And this episode I have on George from imaginenerding.com. And George is pretty freaking fun to talk to. He knows everything about roller coasters and Disney

history. He's ridden over 140 coasters. He does reviews on that stuff. He has read, I forgot,

like over a thousand books on Disney history and he does reviews on that. He used to have a podcast

on this stuff. So he's super, super knowledgeable about

Disney history and just theme park and amusement park history. And those are not the same

thing, by the way, history or theme parks and amusement parks are different. But we talk about

that. So if you're at all into theme parks or Disney or anything like that, I think you'll

really enjoy this episode. So here is George. And we are going. What's up, George? Ah, nothing much. Just excited to be on your podcast. It's going to be a lot of fun. Awesome. Yeah, I'm excited to have you on, too, because you do fun stuff. I try to do fun stuff. Let's see. When I'm not doing, well, actually, I was going to say when I'm not at my regular job, but I love my regular job. So that's okay. That's good. Enjoy, love my job and then love my side hobby of studying all the Disney and the theme parks and everything else. Wow. Life's good, huh, George? Yeah, I try. I try. Sweet, man. Well, let's just get into it. Yeah, so I guess how would you, can you kind of describe what you do or what your side is to people? Like when you meet somebody, what do you say you do? Sure, sure. So imagineerding.com, I have to give all the props to my younger brother,

came up with the name, and he won.

I was impressed with it as well.

And he went to a, he went on a family trip in 2007 and saw so many people that were like disappointed and

you know in the middle of Epcot yelling at each other in screaming you know because it's it's hot

they paid a lot of money the kids aren't happy and he said I want to come back and do something I want

to help people make their trips a lot more enjoyable and a lot more fun okay so I So I said, okay, let's start this website because that was all cool in 2007.

Everybody's starting a blog.

Let's do it.

And after like a month, he said, well, you know what?

I've got too much on my plate as is.

So you can do it.

And then I just merged into what imaginary is today, which is just looking at the history of Disney parks, the history of theme parks,

a roller coaster fanatic, and, you know, Disney history, really.
