For many of you, it is Friday.

Well, actually now it's Saturday.

For me, it's still Friday. TGIF. I hope that you all have a great weekend. It's probably time to maybe meet your friends, go to a movie, have a good time. Yep.

So, uh, if you're a kid and you live with your parents, obviously, today's expression

is very useful. If you're a husband or a wife, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, and you are

not going out on a date, but you're going out with just your friends, you might want to use this expression.

Now, the expression is, cut me some slack. Cut me some slack. Cut me some slack. And we did

study this expression something very similar a couple weeks ago.

It's the same as slack up.

Except this expression is something you say to plead.

Slack up.

This is kind of a command. You're telling something to do something, telling someone to do something.

Cut me some slack has the nuance of please. Oh, please be nice. Oh, don't worry. It's a little bit nicer.

This is the expression that you might tell your parents or your wife or your husband.

Yeah, you could tell your boss or your teacher too, but I would add the word, please. I'll cut me some slack, please. Please cut me some slack. Yes, this is much better than saying

slack up. Oh, come on, teacher on teacher slack up if a student told me that

that student would get an f but if the student said oh teacher please cut me some slack i might

cut him or her some slack maybe Maybe if I was feeling nice.

So be nice to me.
