Today's expression is stay ahead of the game.

Stay ahead of the game. This is a great expression. It's good advice too. Stay, S-T-A-Y, ahead. A-H-E-A-D, stay ahead of the game. If we say it fast,

stay ahead of the, ahead of the of the of the game. If we say it fast, stay ahead of the, ahead of the of the of the V sound disappears.

Stay ahead of the game. Ahead of the game. Ahead of the game. Stay ahead of the game. Stay ahead of the game.

So what does this mean? A game? Stay ahead. Well, I'll tell you what, right now in my

DDM classes, DDM classes, that's my listening class, those are almost most of the students are 30s, 40s,

50s, lots of professionals, professors, doctors, business people,

engineers. That's who most of the DDM students are. But recently, I have three new students.

Two of them are in high school and one of them is in middle school. So I was surprised

because, you know, DDM is fun, but it's a little bit different than, you know, school grammar,

school English. So I asked each of the students, why did you join DDM? And they told me that when they

graduate high school, they don't want to be good at English. They want to be number one. They want to be ahead of everybody else. Right now in their

schools, there's a lot of competition and they want to be number one. So that's why they join

DDM. I guarantee that those three are absolutely not only going to be number one, but if you have

that type of thinking now, you will always stay ahead of the game. You will be ahead of the

competition. You will be a leader. That's the idea, everybody. Stay ahead of the game.

Let's check out a dialogue. Huh, you are such a smart investor. Well, I try to stay ahead of the game.

But how? Do you know powerful people? No, I try to stay ahead of the game. But how?
