because I have on Mal Pearson from, he has a website called makes that didn't make it which he basically writes

the stories and documents all of the car makers that have gone under or like orphan cars and

and that kind of stuff so cars like uh delorean you've probably heard of who doesn't exist anymore

a bunch of car makers like that like the t Tucker, the Brickland, which I used to own.

So we just, it's really fun.

We kind of just go through and talk about a few different car companies who just had cool ideas to start with

and had fun, you know, upstarts and ideas and cars, but then just didn't make it

for whatever reason. And I think if you enjoy cars or if you just kind of enjoy, you know,

fun stories like this, like the American spirit of starting a car company, I think you'll

really enjoy this episode. Mal is just so fun to talk to

It's called Makes That Didn't Make It. Makes That Didn't Make It, man. I would like this whole morning and basically yesterday, I've just been on that site, like, constantly. It's so fun to read about all these stories.

So I guess how would you describe it to somebody who doesn't know what your site is

or who just came upon it?

Well, makes that didn't make it are, I look at American car brands that are no longer

with us.

And many people call them orphan brands.

In fact, there's a whole annual orphan car show in Ipsilani, Michigan that I went to last year.

And we're all the owners of these crazy old brands who are no longer around get together and show off their car and get together and it's basically it's a place for car geeks to get together.
