Hey guys, how's it going? Scott here again from the Scott's Bassist's Podcast. And today we're

sitting down with one of the, one of my favourite UK bass players. In fact, one of my all-time,

really, favourite bass players that I've been into and listening to over the last few years,

the one and only Mr Paul Turner.

Now, in the hierarchy of Jumericoi bass players, Paul was the first really to revolutionise

the band's old school bass sound since JK began a new chapter without Stuart Zender.

Having joined right at the beginning of the group's promo run for the 2005 album

Dynamite, I'm sure you were the same as me if you were around at that time and interbase.

We all looked on with great interest as Paul was brought into the fold of Jmerichwai.

And luckily, for J.K., he has, without question, earned the right to put his own stamp on one of the most

coveted bass gigs in popular music and one of my favorite all-time bands and also outside of jimariqa

paula's enjoyed an incredible career as a first-class session player providing the low end for the

likes of Take That,

Annie Lennox, Omar, Ruby Turner, Brian Ferry, Kylie Minogue and Tom Jones. And recently, he's also

been keeping busy with the UK funk outfit, Brother Strutt. And I'll also put some videos of

him performing with Jimmerich Kui in the show notes,

but also with Brother Strutt as well, because they are such a cool band.

The drummer is, it's Frank Tonto on Kit, playing drums,

and he is just one of, you know, one of the funkiest drummers you'll ever hear.
