to hit on someone to hit on something, usually the expression sounds like this.

Are you hitting on me?

And that would be a woman asking a man if he was trying to seduce her. If he was being nice to her because he wanted to date her,

if he was romantically interested in her, that is almost always how it is used.

So guys, all right, now single guys, of course, married guys, you should not be hitting on anyone.

And ladies, of course, if you are married also, you should not be hitting on anyone.

If you are married and you are hitting on someone, well, if you ask me,

you're wrong. But I guess a lot of people like it. I don't know. You're wrong. Don't do it.

Same. Come on, guys. You know, you chose and you are lucky to find your lady.

So be good all the time.

It's a simple responsibility.

But once again, if you're single, if you're a single man and you are interested in finding a partner, of course, if you're a single lady and you're interested in finding a partner then you do need to

sometimes perhaps hit on someone and the idea comes from fishing so a guy is fishing and he throws out

his worm and there's a fish swimming in the water and the fish sees the worm and the fish is like

hmm should i eat the worm and the fish tries a little bit and the fish keeps trying just a little bit
