Peace be to you.

Once upon a time there were two tadpoles amusing themselves under the water.

One little tadpole said to the other, I think I'll stick my head up and see if there's anything in this world besides water.

The other tadpole said, don't be stupid.

There's only what we know, just water.

And so we often wonder, is there any wisdom,

is there any power above the wisdom of the human intellect and above the power of the human will.

There is. And that's what we're going to talk about.

As there's something else in the world besides water, there's something else in the world besides human nature,

or poor weak human nature and that is grace

grace is not the name of a girl grace is this higher wisdom higher power can come to us it really is not a very good name because it just means gratis.

It merely means that it is free. We cannot merit it in the strict sense.

But it appears repeatedly in the New Testament. In the Greek, its name is Karis, and it is to be counted about 150 times.

Now, if there is another life above the purity natural or the human, then it is possible for every Christian to lead a double life.

Yes, a real double life.

Natural life?

A divine life.

Human life? A spiritual life. A human life?

A spiritual life.

Somewhere in the book of the apocalypse we read,

You call yourselves living, and yet you are dead.

That means you are biologically alive,
