Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the podcast. We're in the middle of the holiday season. I hope you're having an incredible holiday season so far. We're talking today on the podcast

about what if you fail in front of everyone? Okay, so having coached women for as long as I have

and having actually wrote a book about fear, I know that fear of failure is like one of the things

that holds women back and holds business owners back more than anything else from going to the

next level. And so, you know, this is like being scared of looking foolish in front of your peers,

in front of your friends, in front of your family. Why is it also, by the way, that we are so darn nervous about failing in front of the people that are, by the way, supposed to love us the very most? I mean, it's one thing to be nervous about failing in front of people we don't know, but why are we so nervous to fail in front of the people who love us? Isn't that weird? I know I've even said to Jason before, like, I don't want to like fail in front of him. Isn't that dumb?

That he's loved me for 30 years and I don't want to fail in front of my husband. I mean, the guy who, you know, I've committed my life to and vice versa.

But isn't that funny that we just don't want to look foolish or feel like we're going to disappoint people?

You know, we maybe are afraid that if we do fail in front of people, they're going to talk about us.

They're going to talk smack.

And by the way, you know, possibly they are because we have a friend named Jonathan who he always says, like, birds are going to chirp.

Like people that are, they're talk talkers are just they're going to talk

maybe we're worried about you know comments from friends and family and by comments I mean

they're going to ask questions they're going to wonder like what happened um they're going to ask

you know why did that do you know what happened with that launch do you know why that business went belly, do you know what happened with that launch? Do you know why that

business went belly up? Do you know what happened with that business? Like, you know, and then we

just feel like we have, you can tell you, it's not like rusty right now. If you're watching

on YouTube, like I literally did not even have my podcast mic in front of me. So sorry,

Easton. But, you know, sometimes when there is a failure, people will

ask questions. And then we feel the need to have to give explanations, which, by the way,

part of becoming an actual, like, grown up adult, a mature adult, because you can be
