what would you write? What would be the essential, inexcapable elements of that? And if you took that seriously, now listen to this next question, what would

have to change in your life? Where the place is, where discipleship doesn't form the way you live,

where discipleship doesn't form the way you use your gifts, you use your time,

you use your money, the way you think about your relationships, the way you think about your

identity. Does discipleship define your joy and your sorrow.

What is it that really rules your heart? Because whatever rules your heart

will exercise inescapable influence

over your life and your behavior.

You know, for many of us in ways that we probably don't think about the most vibrant time of

our Christianity lives on Sunday morning.
